Hear from Jingold and their thoughts on working with Sinclair

Recently we sat down with Jingold Marketing Manager Federico Milanese and got his thoughts on working with Sinclair.

So how does Sinclair T55 meet sustainability goals and how important is it to have a compostable label for Jingold?

FM: I believe that it is extremely important to have the Sinclair T55 compostable Fruit label as our brand is very focused on sustainability. We are trying to not only use less packaging but do so in a sustainable way and avoid, for example, the use of plastic and plastic waste. It is very, very important to have a label that is compostable. It is about achieving our goal to be sustainable with every single part of the kiwi fruit packaging.

How does the label fit into your marketing strategy? 


FM: It is an extremely important part of our marketing because Jingold is a premium-quality brand. We invested a lot of effort to guarantee premium for our consumers, so thanks to the label, they can recognize our kiwi and our quality. It’s fundamental for us that every single kiwi we provide has the Jingold label, that it is recognizable, and that the label sticks well to the fruit. But that is not easy, as you know!

We also recognize that the T55 label gives us the possibility to tell consumers more about our kiwis. We are the only company that can provide four different varieties of kiwi. I’m talking about green kiwi fruit, gold kiwi fruit, red kiwi fruit, and Jingold organic, which is another sweet green kiwi variety. We can communicate this information just with the label because every single label has a different colour connected to the Jingold brand. So, this gives us the possibility to differentiate and for the final consumers to recognize and buy our fruit using the label.

What is it like working with Sinclair? 


FM: For us, it gives us the possibility to work perfectly. We really trust Sinclair and have been working with them for many, many years. We know that as we grow as a company, distributing to many, many countries,
