Sinclair achieves ISO 14001:2015 – Excellence in Environmental Management Systems

Sinclair is delighted to announce it has successfully completed its latest ISO 14001 audit and certification process at its Norwich site. This reaffirms one of Sinclair’s values of striving to minimize our carbon footprint by implementing environmentally friendly practices throughout our operations.

ISO 14001 is the international standard that specifies requirements for an effective environmental management system (EMS). An EMS is used to manage environmental aspects, fulfil compliance obligations, and address risks and opportunities to improve performance toward sustainable working practices.

Paul Disdle Environmental & Health Safety Specialist commented:

“I’m delighted we have achieved the ISO 14001 certification. It sits perfectly with Sinclair’s ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 showcasing Sinclair’s dedication to our people, our product and our planet.”

This is Sinclair’s first step in our formal sustainability journey, with the aim to reduce our carbon footprint to net zero. The ISO 14001 certification and our commitment to being regularly audited can install trust in our customers about our sustainability aspirations. All the way from factory to our final product offering.

Colin Woodward CEO commented “The ISO 14001 certification is a great achievement for our facility in Norwich. It highlights our long-term commitment to our environmental standards.”
